Mujahid Hospital organized an informative Awareness Session on Down Syndrome, led by Ms. Marhaba Tassadaq from the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP).
The session was attended by Heads of Departments (HODs) and staff members and focused on increasing understanding of Down Syndrome, with particular emphasis on empathy, specialized care, early intervention, and the importance of creating a supportive environment for individuals and their families.
Ms. Marhaba shared valuable insights on how timely support, appropriate healthcare, and greater awareness can contribute to improved quality of life and more inclusive care.
