Continuing its commitment to serving humanity and promoting workplace wellness, Mujahid Hospital, in collaboration with Kalash Private Limited, organized a comprehensive health awareness and screening program for the company’s employees. The initiative focused on promoting awareness about liver diseases and hepatitis while providing employees with essential health screening services. During the program, employees were offered screening for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, and blood sugar, along with blood pressure and weight assessments. A large number of employees participated in the seminar and benefited from the medical awareness and screening facilities.
The awareness session was led by Dr. Owais Mustafa (MBBS, FCPS), Consultant Gastroenterologist and Specialist in Liver & Stomach Diseases at Mujahid Hospital. He provided an informative briefing on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and early diagnosis of liver diseases and hepatitis. He particularly emphasized the importance of timely screening, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle choices to protect against hepatitis and other serious health conditions. Participants were also provided with valuable medical advice to help them adopt healthier habits and make informed decisions about their well-being.
During the session, Mr. Irfan Yaseen, Senior Manager (P&D) and Head of Corporate Department, introduced the participants to Mujahid Hospital’s super-specialty healthcare services and highlighted the range of specialized medical facilities available to corporate employees. Under his supervision, Mr. Asif Raza, Corporate Officer, Mujahid Hospital, played a key role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of the entire program. His efforts also helped strengthen collaboration between Mujahid Hospital and the corporate sector and effectively connect employees with the hospital’s specialized healthcare services.
The success of the initiative was also supported by the dedicated management of Kalash Private Limited, including Mr. Tariq Mahmood, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Muhammad Sohail Arshad, HR Manager, and Mr. Asim Javed, HR Manager. Mr. Farhan Sadiq, Corporate Officer, Mujahid Hospital, was also present on the occasion. During the program, free screening tests for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, and blood sugar were conducted for employees, while HB testing for female employees was also facilitated.
The primary objective of the initiative was to create greater awareness among employees about preventable diseases, encourage timely medical screening, and promote healthier lifestyles.
