Mujahid Hospital, through its Corporate Department, successfully organized a special Physiotherapy and Ergonomics Awareness Session at the Mobilink Jazz Regional Office, Faisalabad, aimed at promoting workplace wellness, preventing common office-related injuries, and educating employees about healthy posture and physical well-being.
The session was led by Dr. Muqaddas Asif (B.S.P.T, PP-DPT, M.Phil, MPPT), Consultant & Head of the Physiotherapy Department at Mujahid Hospital. Through a detailed projector presentation, she briefed employees on musculoskeletal health, posture correction, workplace ergonomics, injury prevention, and the management of common neck and back pain.
Dr. Muqaddas Asif and her team also demonstrated practical exercises that employees could easily incorporate into their daily routines. Employees actively participated in the session and asked questions about neck and back pain and other workplace-related physical concerns. The team provided comprehensive answers along with practical demonstrations of exercises and preventive techniques.
As part of the health initiative, Jazz employees also received free blood sugar testing, blood pressure checks, and weight assessments. Following the awareness session, employees had the opportunity to receive individual medical guidance and consultation from Dr. Muqaddas Asif and her team.
The successful organization of the session was carried out under the supervision of Mr. Irfan Yaseen, Senior Manager Promotion & Development and Head of Corporate Department, while Mr. Asif Raza, Corporate Officer, Mujahid Hospital, played a highly commendable role in planning, coordination, and execution. His dedication helped ensure the smooth completion of the program and further strengthened the partnership between Mujahid Hospital and the corporate sector.
The initiative also received valuable support from the Mobilink Jazz team, including Mr. Imran Ghiyas, Zonal Manager HSE & Security (Faisalabad), Mr. Waqas Ahmed, Regional Manager HSE, and Mr. Salman Mirza, Stream Head HSE. Mr. Farhan Sadiq, Corporate Officer, Mujahid Hospital, was also present during the session.
At the conclusion of the program, the Jazz management arranged a visit to the office gym for Dr. Muqaddas Asif and her team and appreciated Mujahid Hospital’s professional efforts toward promoting employee health and wellness. The participating employees also highly appreciated the initiative and valued the practical knowledge and healthcare guidance provided during the session.
