High Dependency Unit
The High Dependency Unit (HDU) at Mujahid Hospital provides specialized care for patients who require close monitoring and support but do not need full intensive care. It serves as a vital step-down unit between the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and general ward, ensuring patients continue to receive focused attention during recovery from serious illnesses, surgeries, or complications.
Our HDU is staffed by skilled doctors, nurses, and critical care professionals who monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide advanced nursing care around the clock. The unit is equipped with modern monitors, oxygen support, suction machines, and emergency response systems.
Patients in the HDU are usually stable but still require a higher level of observation and intervention than those in regular wards. The HDU ensures a safe transition for such patients and plays a key role in preventing further complications.
At Mujahid Hospital, the HDU represents our commitment to delivering structured, step-wise care tailored to every patient’s recovery needs.
